The MIA airport grounds consist of 3 terminals and 6 concourses: North Terminal (Concourse D), Central Terminal (Concourses E, F, G) and South Terminal (Concourses H, J).

Connection between terminals
To move between terminals, you must use the moving walkways on the third level. There are also moving walkways starting at the Central Terminal that go to the MIA Mover station that you can use (free of charge) to get to Miami Central Station where you can rent cars.
The MIA Mover (an automated shuttle) is located on level 3, between the Dolphin and Flamingo parking garages.
Since Concourse D in the North Terminal is a mile long, the Skytrain takes you from one end of the concourse to the other, with four stations (one each 4 of a mile long). Use the elevators in Concourse D to go up to the Skytrain stop.

North Terminal
Hall D is the only one located in the terminal, it receives a total of 30 million passengers each year and has 50 gates for boarding.
It offers domestic and international flights, with American Airlines and American Eagle being the most important airlines.
On Level 1 are the arrival gates and baggage claim access. Passengers can find different services on this level, such as cabs and other transportation services.
On this level is the check-in and baggage claim area, and the entrance to the boarding gates after passing through the security checkpoint.
Level 3 Passengers can access the parking lot or board the IA Mover to reach the Car Rental Center or board the MetroRail, among others.

Central Terminal
Concourses E and F offer domestic and international flights; in Concourse G, domestic flights.
Arrivals Level
The arrivals and baggage claim area is located on the first level. Passengers can find different services on this level, such as cabs and other transportation.
On the second level, Level 2 has check-in counters and security and boarding area through lounges E, F and G.
- Hall E – It has a total of 18 gates distributed in: E2 and E4 to E11 in the main concourse and in the Satellite area are the boarding gates numbered E20 to E25 and E30, E31 and E33. To get here, passengers must board a train located on the fourth level that links the boarding gates of the E20 to E33 section. Hall E also houses the MIA Airport Hotel.
- Concourse F – has 19 gates marked F3-F12, F14-F21 and F23. All gates can be reached from the security checkpoint in about 3 to 5 minutes on foot.
- Hall G – has 14 doors marked as follows: G2, G4-G12, G14-G16 and G19, they are accessible from the security checkpoint.
Third Level passengers get to use this level to access the parking garage or to board the MIA Mover to get to the Car Rental Headquarters or board the MetroRail.

South Terminal
It offers services for domestic arrivals and departures and international flights (in Hall H), with Delta Airlines being the most used as it offers more flight options. Hall J is where international flights arrive.
On the first level is the Arrivals lounge and entrance to the baggage claim area.
Check-in Level Level 2. Hall H has 17 gates distributed as follows: H3-H12 and H14-H14: H3-H12 and H14-H20.
